My name is Girish Joshi. I am a 3^rd generation Farmer by blood, a Software Engineer by education and a Filmmaker by passion. Our family farm is at Ratnagiri in Konkan region of Maharashtra, 400 kms south of Mumbai. I am here to sell Organic Ratnagiri Alphonso, Kesar and Pairi Mangoes and Cashews from our farm. Our farm has secured the GI tag of Authentic Ratnagiri Alphonso mangoes. GI No: AU/6911/GI/139/672

** Ok Girish, Tell us about your farm.
Our family farm is primarily a mango orchard with 1200-plus Mango trees, 200-plus Cashew trees and 200-plus Coconut trees. We also grow Rice, Ginger, Turmeric, Chilli and seasonal vegetables on our farm. We have a herd of 12-15 Desi cows, cats, dogs and many hens – The whole nine yards!
We follow renowned agriculturalist Padmashri Subhash Palekarji who has expounded Chemical-free farming techniques all over India. We create our own Organic fertilisers and pesticides using desi cow urine, desi cow dung and medicinal leaves of trees like Neem, Karanj, Kajra, Rui etc.
So we are Organic and
C of Chemical Fertilisers,
C of Chemical Pesticides,
C of Calcium Carbide and most importantly
C of Cancer does not enter our Farm.

Assal Ratnagiri Hapus: We are selling pure Ratnagiri Alphonso/Hapus, Kesar and Pairi mangoes from our farm only. These mangoes are mature, diligently picked and of top quality. No chemical fertilisers or pesticides are used in our farm. And no, we do not use Calcium Carbide in mango ripening process either. After harvesting, all mangoes are ripened naturally in grass before being dispatched. There is no "Chemical Locha".

Oh Yes! 2 things; Firstly we would love to host you at our farm. Spending time around mango trees laden with mangoes is BLISS. You can also join us in our farming activities: in harvesting mangoes; in packaging mangoes; in feeding & milking our cows; in managing the irrigation system; in collecting cashews and a bunch of other farm activities that go from dawn to dusk.
And you will definitely enjoy our homemade village food cooked on wood fired stove. Coconut based Konkan cuisine is an absolute delight – especially for fish lovers. We are 2 Kms away from the beach and get the best catch every morning from local fishermen.
Nearby to our farm are various tourist destinations: the famous Mahakali Temple at Adivare, the Kanakaditya Sun temple of Kasheli, the Kasheli beach point and absolutely virgin Vetye beach. There are historical forts viz Vijaydurg fort and Purnagad fort nearby. All in all, lots of places to visit!
