Cancellation & Refund Policy
* If you place an order and then cancel it before your Mango Box is dispatched, then we will pay you FULL REFUND of your order. Kindly note that once we initiate refund on our payment gateway, you will receive an Email confirmation of the same from our system. It takes 5 to 8 working days for your account to be credited with the refund amount.
** If you have placed an order and our Courier partner is unable to deliver since the Delivery pincode is not in serviceable area then we will Cancel your order and pay you FULL REFUND.
** Please note that if you cancel your order AFTER your Mango Box is dispatched, then NO REFUND will be given.
It is our endeavour to deliver our mangoes to your kitchen in the finest condition possible, but sometimes due to the delicate nature of Alphonso mangoes - they being a highly perishable commodity, there are times when you might receive the odd damaged/spoilt/rotten mango in spite of our best efforts.
Damages mostly occur due to mishandling/miscommunication during transit process. Also sometimes its just an unfortunate turn of events. Once your mango box is dispatched, we provide a tracking id so that Customer knows delivery date. On the Delivery date, the Courier company calls/sms/emails the Customer about the impending delivery. Even then, the Courier company finds a locked address and the next day is a Public Holiday or Sunday. That means your box of Mangoes remains in the hot, maybe poorly ventilated Courier office for an additional day.
Sometimes the box is delivered at the Security gate as per Housing Society Rules or Office Building rules during these Covid -19 times and the Security fails to inform the Customer.
Also for Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, there is a road transport required from the main airport in the state. For example, your location is at Chhapra, Bihar, that is 3 hours by road from Patna Airport. This road transport results in one additional day for the courier process. In such cases, it would help if the Customer proactively follows up with the local courier office at Chhapra and provides them with the tracking id of his shipment.
We process 150 plus orders in online sales per week and some 250 plus orders in offline sales per week. From our Ratnagiri farm with erratic internet connections, it is very difficult for us to check if each online shipment has reached the Customer. Thus as farmers, we request your help to ensure that your precious box of mangoes reaches your kitchen as quickly as possible. After shipping your mango box we send you tracking details and we request every Customer to track the delivery process on regular basis till he gets his mango box.
No Refunds will be given if a non-delivery or late delivery occurs due to a mistake by the Customer (i.e. wrong or incomplete name or address provided by the Customer) or if the Customer is not available at home even though the Courier company has made 2 mandated delivery attempts or if Customer refuses delivery for any reason.
Refund for Bad/Spoilt mangoes: The vagaries of nature are such that sometimes a perfectly good looking mango from the outside could be spoilt/rotten from the inside due to a number of reasons including but not limited to adverse weather conditions, unseasonal rainfall etc. In such a case, please send us photos of the spoilt mangoes within 12 hours after receiving your mango box. We will offer you refund of the damaged mangoes by sending you a special Discount code for your next order.
Under no circumstance, can we send you a replacement box.
Cancellation, replacement and/or refund request by the Customer will be accepted or rejected at our sole discretion.
